Plague vaccine is a killed bacteria vaccine (1,2). No risk to the fetus from vaccination during pregnancy has been reported (1). The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Technical Bulletin No. 160 recommends that the vaccine be used in pregnancy only for exposed persons (1).
