Fetal Risk Summary


Tridihexethyl is an anticholinergic quaternary ammonium chloride. In a large prospective study, 2,323 patients were exposed to this class of drugs during the 1st trimester, 6 of whom took tridihexethyl (1). A possible association was found between the total group and minor malformations, but the significance of this is unknown. Independent confirmation is required (1).
