Fetal Risk Summary


Mepenzolate is an anticholinergic quaternary ammonium bromide. In a large prospective study, 2,323 patients were exposed to this class of drugs during the 1st trimester, 1 of whom took mepenzolate (1). A possible association was found between the total group and minor malformations.
