Lipitor and muscle aches?

Do muscles ache more after working out if I take lipitor?

I worked out for the 1st time in 4 months and for the last 3 days
I have been in exruciating pain in my triceps. I can't even lift
my arms to comb my hair, eat food, etc. I take lipitor every night
for my cholesterol. Would this have any effect on the intensity
of my muscle pain or is it because I was just not used to working
out? Will this pain go away because it is very debilitating

No this is not from the combination of both. You didn't mention how long you have been on the lipitor but call your doc and report this to him/her as severe muscle pain is a major side effect of cholesterol meds.
