Fetal Risk Summary


Isocarboxazid is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. The Collaborative Perinatal Project monitored 21 mother-child pairs exposed to these drugs during the 1st trimester, 1 of which was exposed to isocarboxazid (1). An increased risk of malformations was found. Details of the single case with exposure to isocarboxazid were not given.
