what can i make with methylated spirits,sudafed, iodine,and hydriodic acid ?,
A great big mess, stop messing with ingredients you know nothing about, why are all you people trying to make drugs? Go get yourself an isolated Island, and go there with other druggies, and do yourself in, no one will care. It's people like you that make buying even otc meds a hassle. get a life, drug free!
Complete the following acid-base reactions with balanced molecular, total ionic, and net ionic equations?, (a) Potassium hydroxide(aq) + hydriodic acid(aq)
(b) Ammonia(aq) + hydrochloric acid(aq)
*molecular
*total ionic
*net ionic
*spectator ions
KOH + HI >> H2O + KI
K+ + OH- + H+ + I- >> H2O + K+ + I-
OH- + H+ >> H2O
NH4OH + HCl >> H2O + NH4Cl
NH4+ + OH- + Cl- + H+ + Cl- >> H2O + NH4+ + Cl-
H+ + OH- >> H2O
How many moles of H+ ions are present in the following aqueous solutions?, How many moles of H+ ions are present in the following aqueous solutions?
(a) 1.2 L of 0.48 M hydrobromic acid
_____ mol
(b) 47 mL of 2.2 M hydriodic acid
_____ mol
(c) 471 mL of 0.27 M nitric acid
______mol
I'm confused on this question, if someone could explain each step I would really appreciate it, thank you!
L x M = mol
Assuming that the acids completly dissociate....
HBr ==> H+ + Br-
1.2L x 0.48M = 0.58 mol H+
HI ==> H+ + I-
0.047L x 2.2M = 0.10 mol H+
HNO3 ==> H+ + NO3-
0.471L x 0.27M = 0.23 mol H+
