Homatropine is an anticholinergic agent. The Collaborative Perinatal Project monitored 50,282 mother-child pairs, 26 of which used homatropine in the 1st trimester (1, pp. 346353). For use anytime during pregnancy, 86 exposures were recorded (1, p. 439). Only for anytime use was a possible association with congenital defects discovered. In addition, when the group of parasympatholytics was taken as a whole (2,323 exposures), a possible association with minor malformations was found (1, pp. 346353).

Is there any way i can get homatropine eye drops with out a prescription?, i
Not legally.
It is a controlled drug available only to Dr.s and pharmacies.
Why would you even want it ?
Is there any way to extract the homatropine. from hycodan pills?, Homatropine is added to prevent hydrocodone abuse. Is there any way, such as cold water extraction to salvage the hydrocodone from these pills? And yes i'm a pillhead :)
No. No way to separate the two without a sophisticated chemistry lab.
Hycodan. Hydrocodone with homatropine?, This is a cough suppressant. But isn't hydrocodone for pain relief? What's diffferent about the cough formula? Does it have the same effects as the "loratab" pain pill.
codine suppresses a cough.
Loratab and Vicotine have acteomenaphine in them for the pain. The codine makes that more potent.
They are made up of different things. It just happens that codine is a multi-purpose drug. Different dosage amounts(of course)
Does Hycodan have the same effects as Tussionex?, I was prescribed Hycodan last Monday and have not taken it yet. I have had Tussionex in the past and I was wondering if there were pretty much the same thing. I know that Hycodan only has 5mg of hydrocodone and tussionex has 10 but I was wondering if other than that they were the same thing? I was also wondering if Homatropine was in tussionex also. I saw that it was in Hycodan.. What is that exactly?
No homatropine in tussionex; also, tussionex contains an antihistamine (anti-allergy ingredient), while hycodan doesn't. Other than that they are both hydrocodone-based cough medicines
