AKA: Eboga, eboka, Tabernanthe iboga.
The only member of the dogbane family known to be used as a hallucinogen.
Effects: Hallucinations similar to LSD, but stronger; shamans who use it claim to contact the dead. It is also said to act as a stimulant and aphrodisiac, and to increase muscle strength and stamina. The psychoactive ingredient is ibogaine, which can also be made synthetically. At the turn of the last century, it was used briefly as an antidepressant, and at least one psychotherapist (C. Naranjo) has found it to be useful in inducing fantasies and childhood memories. Early research indicates it may be a treatment for opiate addiction, though Jonathan Ott calls this "a dubious proposition."
Precautions: In high doses, it can cause vomiting, loss of motor coordination, convulsions, paralysis, respiratory failure, and death.
Dosage: One gram of bark or roots can heighten feelings of sexuality and awareness - users claim that they can engage in sex for up to seventeen hours and remain awake during hunting for two full days. Doses of 3 grams or more are needed to induce hallucinations; unfortunately, this is also very close to the toxic dose, and indigenous peoples use this high a dose only on rare occasions. The roots can be chewed or swallowed, or the roots and bark can be boiled into a tea.
Questions and Answers
Can you still purchase peyote and iboga in the smart shops in Amsterdam?, If the dollar still has any value to the Euro come summertime I'm planning on visiting Amsterdam. Now that mushrooms are akin to heroin and cocaine, classified as a hard drug, (bad mother earth and people for growing you without the governments permission) are they going to crack down on smart shops selling other simular products?
God I really don't know why you would want to, if I read about it then it is really dodgy.... but ok, personal opinions aside.
One of the smartshops proclaims that you can order it online (but not ship to the US before you ask because of the law!) and so I suppose if you can order online then you can also buy in person. Best thing maybe is to send them a Email directly (link below)

Is it possible to destroy every marijuana plant, psilocybe mushroom, and Iboga root in the world?, Would this help win the war on drugs? Why is the government and so many people against those who use these things? What harm does it cause others?
No its impossible to destroy it all because its in every area in the world.
The government does not like these drugs because they don't fit into the daily life they want people to have. These drugs are boundary dissolving. Government relies on boundaries to keep people in line. These drugs harm very few people. Some people have adverse reactions and go a little bit nutty. But under the right conditions and proper knowledge of what the drug does and what you should expect from the experience they are completely safe.
has anyone tried the iboga plant to help with drug addiction? and did it work.?, the iboga is bark from a tree .that is used in camaroon

Adam, Eve and Iboga (the tree of knowledge?) What is the tree of knowledge?, There is a plant in Nth. Gabon, West Africa that is very amazing.
The root bark of the Iboga plant is a drug used by the tribes in ceromonies to connect with God. It also has the effect of stopping different addictions in a matter of days with no withdrawl effects.
Its very interesting, there is a web site Mindvox.com that has info about Iboga and there is a story about Adam and Eve and Iboga that is very strange. it is interesting and weid. see what you think.

Ibogaine for treating/curing depression?, Has anyone had any results with using ibogaine for treating depression? For those that don't know, ibogaine comes from the iboga plant and is illegal in the US (but not in Canada, Mexico, and many European countries). It is also used for curing heroin/opiate addiction/withdrawal symptoms. The fact that it is illegal in the US does not mean that it does not have legitimate medical uses.

Well, the altar thing was most likely Sabbat or intent oriented, but the rest of it might have something to it. White is the presence of all colours, and black is the absence of colours, and the each colour (not just black, white or red) have individual meanings as well.
I haven't really noticed anything, but you may be on to something.
Guild Wars farming?, Hello. I dont farm much , little as possible. But for the Halloween special I am wanting to farm Sentient Roots. I know they drop from plants (except Beautiful Iboga) but I dont know where in Nightfall to farm. I started at the beginning outside Kamadan, but can only get around 6 roots lol. Does anyone know where in Guildwars are the most plants? Thanks :D
You can only get Sentient Roots from lvl 1-6 plants. So the best place would be outside Kamadan as you have said. You could also try outside Jokonur Diggings but there are all lvl 6-10 there so you would mostly get Sentient Seeds instead of Sentient Roots. Sorry :( There isnt many plants that are lvl 1-6 in the game sadly. Goodluck though . But if your tryin to get Tonics with your Roots, you can also kill Skree and collect Skree Wings and get Tonics with that, and you have more areas to farm Skree Wings than you do Roots.
