Questions and Answers

Carbachol (Miostat) has significant nicotinic activity, why is this unmasked in the presence of atropine?,

Atropine, the classic muscarinic receptor antagonist, inhibits ion currents mediated by neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors expressed in Xenopus laevus oocytes. For an extensive answer to this go to: Click here>http://pharm.aspetjournals.org/cgi/conte...

How to calculate the mass of a substance?, Chemistry calculations.
calculate the mass of carbachol (mr 182) needed to make 10mL of 1 x 10-3M

vol. * conc. = amount.

So, 0.010 L * 0.001 mol/L = 0.00001mol. (L cancels)

now, mol * g/mol will give grams. I'm sure you can do that part.
