What is the best diet to lose weight and lower blood pressure?, I really need to lose weight and lower my blood pressure. What is a diet that would address these issues?? I just realized that my microwave meals are LOADED with sodium. I am not a very good cook, also.
Processed foods are loaded with all kinds of different salts, as you've found out.
Any diet that makes you lose weight will also make your bloodpressure go down as you do.
Dark chocolate (min 70% cocoa) also has some unique ingredients that lower bloodpressure, but you have to take the calories into account.
You don't have to cook much. Cook big stuff when you do cook, and cook it without salt. Then throw it in some tupperware and in the fridge or freezer. Keep in mind that you do require SOME salt - but not much.
What is the best kind of diet to lose weight?, I need to lose weight and I dont want to do a diet like south beach or any crap like that I'm looking for a life changing way to eat. You need to maintain your diet and eat for rest of your life the food you like. To maintain your new slim body you will have the list of some general "rules". These rules are meant to be "general" and "simple" because you can easily maintain your new body by just using a the simple and general rules.
For example, the rule about breaking up your daily food intake into 4 meals may "seem" simple, but it can control how slim you stay in the future.
You will be also presented with rules about what to avoid when grocery shopping, how to order food at restaurants, and how to order at fast food establishments.
The late night eating habit and other non-healthy eating habits also been tackled.
These rules are ""simple sounding"" but they are enough to maintain your new body for the rest of your life.
See the sample rotation of the meals and get more info on the diet plans at http://www.squidoo.com/Lose-10lbs-AWeek
I hope this will help you to lose weight and the most important without any harmful diet pills.
What Is The Best Diet To Lose Weight Quick?, I am looking for a healthy diet with exercise to lose weight quick... I have a pass to the YMCA and I am planning to go everyday... What is an appropriate diet to use... Thanks,
Spencer
Low carb foods and grilled foods.
What is the best diet to Lose Weight?, Im a high school wrestler and im trying to lose weight im currently at 150lbs and im trying to get down to 140lbs im wondering what would be the best diet to get down there is..
Please nobody say thats unhealthy i get told that alot
Diet, and work-out at the gym. Avoid soda, as much as possible and ear fruit daily. Most guys with 6 pack abs, don't drink soda. You need to drink alot of water, and fruit to stay fit. Watch your calorie intake, and limit sugar as much as possible. Fish and chicken should always be in your diet (if you dont have alergies to fish).
Get a gym membership, only working-out at home will let you see results alot slower. At home, do crunches, push-ups, and sit-ups. At the gym do 15-35 minutes of cardio, work your upper body strenght. Cardio has been said to help lose fat, all over the body.
What is the fastest way to lose weight?, Without diet pills! Please be serious! I gained a lot of weight with my 2 pregnancies. My youngest is 3 now and I still haven't lost anything. I have tried dieting sooo many times and I can't stick to it. I have been walking/jogging for 30 min at least 4 times a week and doing 100 crunches and I try not to eat as much and I also try not to eat after 8pm. If anyone has any suggestions pleeeease let me know! I'm so tired of not seeing fast results and that's what really discourages me from keeping up with the exercise!!
My friend, I applaud your efforts at losing weight and getting healthy. I must suggest, though, that this is not a fast process. I think this expectation that you will obtain fast results is setting yourself up for failure, thus causing you discouragement.
Dieting is not something to do for a while, it is a way of life. Try setting realistic goals for yourself. Make small improvements in your diet that you can stick with. Keep a journal of your progress. Your walking/jogging is a great way to lose weight as long as you don't over do things. Crunches can build muscle, but they don't burn as many calories as aerobic exercises. Not eating after 8 is also good.
It sounds like you are really on the right track. My friend, this is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. Quick fixes tend to be unhealthy, cause injury, and don't last. Set realistic goals that are tracked by a journal. Create a short and long term plan. Avoid diet pills. Keep up the aerobic exercises, and make small changes in your eating habits.
P.S. Drinking a 16 oz glass of water first thing in the morning is supposed to boost your metabolism, though I don't have any evidence to back this up. Be healthy and best wishes!
What is the best diet to lose weight quickly?, I need to lose 20 pounds in 1 month. What is the best diet to go on?
Cut the junk food out immediately and slowly decrease your portions at meals (otherwise if you cut back too fast you run the risk of drastically slowing down your metabolism, and that is never good for quick weight loss). Also, start exercising like crazy!
What is the best diet to go on to lose weight but not starve to death?, I'm looking to go on a diet to lose between 10-15 lbs. I sit in a cube for 9 hours a day, so it's easy for me to be a snacker. I need to find a diet that will still allow me to eat healthily while I'm losing the weight. I know that the Atkins Diet is popular but, I heard that it can also be damaging to your health if you cut out all carbs. I also want to stay away from "crash dieting." I want something that I can stick with years down the road. Any ideas?
Low Carb Dieting Tip
Your rate of metabolism dictates how many calories you burn. Heredity, gender, age, body size. diet and nutrition, activity level, and your overall health factor in on determining how high or low your metabolism is. It is normal for metabolism levels to lower as a person ages. Because of this it is important to begin stepping up your exercise routines in your thirties and forties.
Ways to Boost Your Metabolism
Eat Regularly - Eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day will give you energy throughout the day--helping you to burn calories. Whereas, calories eaten during larger meals tend to get stored as fat.
Maintain a Balanced Diet - Not only how often you eat is important, but your food choices are equally as important. Nurture you body with the appropriate balance of protein and carbs.
Eating whole foods rather than processed food gives your digestive system a workout that burns calories. For example: choose an apple over apple juice.
Workout with Weights - Building muscle mass will replace stored fat. As you build muscle tissue your metabolism increases.
Don't Forget Cardio - You need to get that heart rate up and breathe a little heavier. Twenty to thirty minutes of cardiovascular activity 5 days a week is recommended. Brisk walking or swimming are good. Or utilize exercise equipment (exercise bike, treadmill, or elliptical trainer)
Fruits and vegetables are clearly an important part of a good diet. Almost everyone can benefit from eating more of them, but variety is as important as quantity. No single fruit or vegetable provides all of the nutrients you need to be healthy. The key lies in the variety of different fruits and vegetables that you eat.
Some basic fruit and vegetable tips:
• Try to eat more fruits and vegetables. If you need 2,000 calories a day to maintain your weight and health, aim for at least nine servings (4½ cups) a day.
• Choose a variety of different fruits and vegetables. It's easy to get into a rut when it comes to the food you eat. Break out and try a wider variety - include dark-green, leafy vegetables; yellow, orange, and red fruits and vegetables; cooked tomatoes; and citrus fruits.
What is the best diet to lose weight super fast?, I am not concerned with the health aspect. I want to lose 30 pounds really quick and then I will change my diet to a more healthful approach. Anyone know of a quick way to drop the pounds, even if it's supposedly "unhealthy"?
go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7
p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.
What is the best diet pill to lose weight?, I am trying to lose weight, I have changed my eating and exercising habits, but still nothing. I am wanting to try a diet pill, but I want something that is healthy for me. I do not know very much about diet pills. Can anyone help me out?
I would recommend you talk to your doctor first. If you have changed your eating and exercising habits and your weight is not coming off you may want to have your Thyroid Checked.
I would never recommend anyone take a Diet Pill because they all say with diet and exercise and I am sorry to say there is no magic pill to help get the weight off.
I can feel your pain. I have plateaued many times in my journey to lose 436 pounds. And I have bounced up and down. I am now down over 150 pounds in weight and I did it all through diet, seeing a nutritionist, and walking my dog and on a treadmill. It is not easy but I have never once taken a pill to help me get weight off.
So please see your doctor first. Find out if you have an underlying medical condition that is preventing you from getting those pounds off. He or She may be able to get your Thyroid working again, or suggest a nutritionist to help you reach your goals. But stay away from diet pills.
