Who saw the interview Oprah had with Star Jones about her losing weight & life?, Did anyone see The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday(Tuesday) and what did you think of the interview Oprah had with Star Jones and what are your point of views on the answers Star gave Oprah based on the questions Oprah asked Star?click here

I saw the interview yesterday.
Star did a good job of explaining where she was coming from and where she is now. I especially liked that The Oprah Show played a clip of Oprah's interview with Barbara Walters and asked Star to respond. Star's response respectfully pointed out that she never uttered the words "portion control and Pilates" as the reason for her weight loss, only that she entered into a plan with her doctor which gastric bypass necessarily includes. Star was open about her emotional reasons for wanting her surgery to remain private, and she was open about who she really was underneath the front. I also liked that she said she wasn't aware she was burdening her colleagues and apologized for doing so. I found her apology especially gracious considering she never asked her colleagues to lie for her and that Star was the only person with something to lose by keeping her surgery private, not her colleagues. I was especially relieved to see that Star has kept her weight off all this time, even after all the stress of her departure from "The View". Some other bypass patients have not been so fortunate.
Since watching Star's interview on Oprah yesterday, I have a new respect for Star and less respect for Barbara Walters.
Why do we celebrate Al Roker and Star Jones losing weight?, They got there stomach stapled. They did not show any disciple and work ethic. They're rich and paid for a medical procedure. Does it reinforce their physical laziness?
You're the only one that is celebrating. Personally, I could care less.
How does everyone feel about Star Jones weight lost?,
She had gastric bypass. It's no big deal now a days. What's disappointing, though, is at the beginning, she was lying about the fact that she had the surgery. I don't know why she couldn't have just been honest about what she did. People would have supported her.
Do you think 'The View' is sending the wrong message by punishing Star Jones for losing weight?, It appears the View might hire Mo'nique to replace Star Jones. She is a big black woman, and it's clear that the braindead producers seem to think viewers don't want to watch black women unless they're big and loud. I mean, it couldn't be more obvious why Star was let go.
What message does this send to black women? That you have to be fat to succeed in show business? Isn't it wrong for the View to discourage already obese black women to lose weight? Why should anyone be punished for that?
Would you boycott this show?
It sounded like B. Walters was jealous that Starr changed her appearance for the better and Barbara's appearance doesn't change no make how many face lifts she has
Does the public really need to know how Star Jones lost her weight?, ABC claims that part of the reason they did not renew her contract is because the viewers were turned off by how much weight she lost. Rosie O'Donnell has publicly criticized her for not stating that she had gastric bypass surgery.
Is it any of our business or do you feel the public should have been told that piece of information?
i think its none of our business, its her life and we shouldn't be worrying about it nor be so nosey about it! i think people shouldn't criticize her, and just worry about their own life!
do you think ever since star jones lost a lot of weight?, have you notice ever since star jones loss so much weight ( which i belive was surgery) her attitude has gotten worse?
maybe her attitude have gotten worse, but she sure look sick to me. she looked so much better with her weight. Now her eyes pop out the sockets and she look like she's on drugs or something. MAN! SHE LOOKS HORRIFIC TOO ME.maybe if she would have lost weight a more natural way, she wouldn't look so damn sick.
